OSES is the best!

Canned Food Drive We all knew that but we just confirmed it when our students brought in 1739 cans for the Oliver Springs Community Ministries.  The classes were in competition  against one another to see who could bring in the most nonperishable items.  Mrs. Brasel’s 4th grade class was the winning class and received a banana split party from Mrs. Paula Smith—student art teacher.  The first nine weeks, 6th grade art students, were Food Ambassadors.  They decorated boxes for the classrooms and each  week went around to collect the food items.  Many thanks are extended to those students for their  support.

Veteran’s Day—If you missed our program  on Veteran’s Day, you missed a moving presentation by our students.  Students were excited about the opportunity to honor our veterans.  They drew posters, made flags, wrote letters and poems, sang, interviewed veterans, and did a slide show and recitations.  The students showed such respect for our military and their families.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this program.!

If you are found to be carrying tales that causes a fight or problems between two individuals, you hold partial blame and will also receive punishment.
